This site is designed to provide quick and easy access to the most up-to-date information available regarding health and safety concerns, adverse weather conditions and other emergencies that may affect the UMaine community.

Should an emergency situation arise, detailed information regarding the emergency and how to respond will be posted here and at other critical information sites throughout the campus system. Additional information regarding general health and safety concerns and emergency preparedness will also be made available, as well as links to key information sites on and off campus.

The goal of this site is to maximize communication in order to minimize the risks to members of the UMaine community during an emergency. Detailed response plans are in place for a broad range of emergency situations, and UMaine’s emergency response team is prepared to provide leadership and response services at a moment’s notice.
